Sometimes a “Marriage of Convenience” does work
I have a very good friend who lives in LA. Its is hard to believe that she is (or should I say, was) single. Helen is attactive, intelligent with a happy friendly personality. I guess she just never met the right person.
Then her sister introduced her to an Australian who wanted to live in the USA. Bruce did not hide the fact that he wanted to marry for a green card. Helen was well aware of this fact, but still fell in love with him. About 12 months ago they married.
I’m now happy to report that the two of them are still together and living happily in LA. Bruce got what he wanted, and Helen did too! It’s good to hear a love story with a happy ending for a change.
